Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to BingeBox, including the Android app, bingebox.app, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service
BingeBox lets you watch short vertical dramas made with AI and, if you choose, create and publish your own series. Features may change. We may add, remove, or limit functionality, regions, or device support. Launch focus: United States first, then United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Android first; iOS may follow.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required where you live).
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure.
- Browsing may work without an account. Likes, creation, and wallet features require sign-in.
- One person, one account unless we approve otherwise. No automated bulk account creation.
3. Viewer coins, credits, and purchases
- Coins are a limited license to unlock digital content inside BingeBox. They have no cash value, are not legal tender, and cannot be sold, transferred, or redeemed for money except where mandatory local law says otherwise.
- Creator generation credits are separate from viewer coins. Credits allow generation jobs; they also have no cash value and are non-transferable.
- Optional purchases (coin packs, weekly pass, episode unlocks, and similar) are processed by Google Play. Prices include applicable store pricing and taxes as shown at checkout.
- Unused coins or credits may expire if we state a period in-product, or if your account is closed for violation of these Terms.
- We may change prices, pack sizes, earn rates, and unlock costs prospectively. Changes do not alter coins you already hold except as required for abuse prevention or legal compliance.
4. Refunds
- Purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google’s refund policies and tools. Request Play refunds through Google first.
- Where we control a refund (for example a failed unlock that did not deliver), contact support and we will investigate. We may restore coins/credits or re-deliver content at our discretion when a clear service fault occurred.
- Consumed digital content (watched unlocks, completed generation jobs) is generally non-refundable.
- Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence (including UK/AU consumer guarantees where they apply).
5. Creator content — ownership and license
- Your prompts and inputs. You retain rights you have in text and other materials you submit.
- AI outputs. As between you and BingeBox, and to the extent allowed by law and vendor terms, we assign to you our rights in the specific show assets generated for your account from your prompts (scripts, images, audio, video delivered to you). This does not include our software, models, UI, trademarks, or generic styles.
- License to BingeBox. By publishing or uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-bearing only as described in the revenue-share section, transferable and sublicensable license to host, reproduce, distribute, stream, promote, and display that content in connection with operating and marketing the Service.
- You can unpublish or delete content subject to technical limits, caches, backups, and copies already unlocked by viewers.
- You represent that you have the rights to submit your inputs and that your content does not infringe others’ rights.
6. Revenue share
- When viewers spend paid coins (or equivalent paid unlocks) on your published episodes, you may earn a creator share of net proceeds attributable to those unlocks.
- “Net” means amounts we actually receive after store fees, taxes we must withhold or remit, chargebacks, refunds, fraud reserves, and payment-processing costs. Exact percentages and eligible unlock types are shown in the creator dashboard or payout docs when payouts go live and may be updated prospectively.
- Until payouts are enabled in your region, balances may accrue as pending. We may set minimum payout thresholds and identity/tax verification requirements.
- Abuse (fake views, self-dealing, refund fraud, manipulated unlocks) voids related earnings. We may withhold or claw back amounts tied to violations.
7. AI content rules
You must not use the Service to generate, upload, or publish content that:
- Is illegal, or that exploits or endangers minors (anyone under 18) in any sexual or abusive way.
- Is non-consensual intimate imagery, extreme pornography, or sexual content involving people who look under 18.
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or instructions for serious violent crime.
- Is hateful harassment targeting protected characteristics, or clear doxxing.
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights, including using a real person’s name or likeness to generate deceptive content in ways the law forbids.
- Is malware, scams, or phishing.
- Attempts to bypass safety filters, rate limits, or billing.
AI outputs can be wrong, biased, or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing your shows before publishing. We do not guarantee uniqueness, accuracy, or fitness of generated media.
8. Moderation
- We may review, age-gate, restrict, unpublish, or delete content, and suspend or terminate accounts, when we believe these Terms or law require it — with or without prior notice when urgency or safety requires.
- We may use automated and human review. Reporting tools and appeal contacts will be offered where practical; write to privacy@bingeboxapp.com for account appeals until a dedicated support address is published.
- We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we reserve the right to do so.
9. Acceptable use
- No scraping, reverse engineering (except where mandatory law allows), or overloading our APIs outside documented use.
- No misrepresenting affiliation with BingeBox.
- No using the Service if we have banned you.
10. Intellectual property of BingeBox
The app, website, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or code except as needed to use the Service.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (for example Google Play, Neon, PostHog, Firebase, OpenRouter, fal, Salad, Cloudflare, Resend). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. Outages or changes at those providers may affect BingeBox.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT GENERATED CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BINGEBOX AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify BingeBox against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including licenses already granted for distributed content, payment/refund records, disclaimers, and limitations) will survive termination.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence (including UK, Canada, or Australia) require otherwise. Courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable right to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will revise the date above and may notify you in-app or by email for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
